This is a comprehensive software program adaptable to any company or corporation conducting an employee suggestion program.  The IDEAS (Individuals Developing Effective Alternative Solutions) program was created to stimulate employee participation in generating as many new IDEAS as possible that could benefit the site and its employees.  The IDEAS software program was developed to manage the numberous suggestions submitted by Savannah River Site employees.

Description

IDEAS is an easy-to-use database that requires no special training on the part of your employees to access the system, fill out, and submit their suggestions.  This robust system has been in use since 2001 and handles an average of 2,600 electronic suggestion submittals per year and currently has stored 20,000 plus suggestion records within the archives for easy retrieval.  This is a totally electronic system that allows: routing suggestions for approval, automatically sending approved and declined letters, employee payment upon suggestion approval, creating numerous types of reports, tracking average age of suggestions, and much more.

This electronic submittal system was originally designed to interface with Lotus Notes (but is adaptable to other e-mail or web-based applications).
